 Cancellations / NO shows:

If you are sick or feeling ill please plan to reschedule.   I respectfully ask that you provide me with an 8 hour notice of any schedule change or cancellation requests.  Please understand that when you cancel or miss your appointment without providing a 8-12 hour notice I am often unable to fill that appointment time.  This is inconvenient for me and also means my other clients miss the chance to receive services they need.  For this reason you will be a charged $35.00 service fee for the every missed session.  I also reserve the right to require a credit card to be given to book future appointments so that appropriate fee may be charged if a late cancellation/No show does occur.   I do understand that emergencies can arise and illnesses do occur at inopportune times.  Late cancellations due to emergency, illness, inclement weather will generally not result in any missed session charges, but this is determined on a case-by-case basis.                                                                    1/31/2020--I have relaxed my cancellation notice from 24 hours and 50% service fee on first cancellation with 100% thereafter.  So please make every attempt to notify me regarding cancellation / NO show.  I start preparing the room / atmosphere for you one hr before your arrival...nothing worse when I realize that you have no showed.    I will be enforcing this in 2020.

NEW CLIENTS:

1.  If this is your first session, please go to the Forms page and print the Client intake form, fill it out and bring it completed to your session.   Plan to arrive 10 minutes before your scheduled appointment time so that we can review your health intake.

2.  If you have not had a chance to fill out your intake form, please arrive 30 minutes before your scheduled appointment time so that you can fill it out and we can review it prior to your appointment time.

LATE ARRIVALS:

I request that you arrive 10 minutes prior to your appointment time to allow time to fill out any required paperwork as well as answer any intake questions I might need for that days session.  I ask that you call to inform me if you think you will be late so we can do our best to accommodate you.  Appointment times are reserved for each client, so oftentimes we cannot exceed that reserved time without making the next client late.  For this reason, arriving after your appointment time may result in loss of time from your massage so that your session ends at the scheduled time.  Full service fees will be charged even when sessions are shortened due to late arrival.

INAPPROPRIATE BEHAVIOR POLICY:

Massage therapy is for relaxation and therapeutic purposes only.  There is absolutely no sexual component to massage whatsoever.  Any insinuation, joke, gesture, conversation, or request otherwise will result in immediate termination of your session and a refusal of any and all services in the future.  You will be charged the full service fee regardless of the length of your session.  Depending on the behavior exhibited I many file a report with the local authorities if necessary.  Treat your therapist with respect and dignity and you will be treated the same in return.
